Powerpuff Girls Creator v0.7 PC and Mac!
Original thread: tifu.deviantart.com/art/Powerp…
Download: www.black-moth.net/games/PPGCh…
Mac download: www.black-moth.net/games/PPGCh…

Couple big things of note in this edition.
There is now a Mac version available! I tried it out on a Mac mini I was able to test on, and it seems to work fine after I made a few changes to how saving works.
[EDIT] seems there is some issue with the Mac version where it can't save data if it is ran from the downloads folder, not sure why right now, but running it from the desktop or something seems to make it work fine for now[/EDIT]

There is now a Fusion Dance option available from the title screen. Keytee-chan suggested this some time ago and it seemed a silly fun idea, huzzah!
Basically you select two or three characters, and they will do a DBZ style fusion dance. If you select three characters, the first two will do a fusion dance to become the third one. If, however, you select two characters and leave the third slot blank, the two characters will do a fusion dance and their fusion will be randomly generated! They can look pretty goofy :P
As it is entirely random, there is a possibility you will sometimes get 100% components from one character and none from the other, but it can change each time you run it.

I've also added some more costumes, particularly some things from a few Touhou characters, so a lot of ribbons, hats and a couple weird wings :D And I tweaked some existing costume parts which were inconsistent about whether there was a black outline between colour changes...

I'll hopefully have a new version of the character creator once I learn how to code cool particle effect explosion thing. Might be a few days :P
What episode is it (original PPG) where Mojo looks up at a painting of one of his ancestors and its like a chimp dressed as Napoleon or something? Anyone know?

*edit* Nevermind - it was A Very Special Blossom! He was a ship captain.

Powerpuff Girls: Character Creator v0.6
Original thread: tifu.deviantart.com/art/Powerp…
Download: www.black-moth.net/games/PPGCh…

Townsville! No longer a weird mesh of placeholder textures!

This update includes a new feature from the main menu - pose mode! Which allows you to load in some characters and pose them. It is fairly bare bones, and this is just an extra thing I made (relatively) quickly, not something I want to spend hours tweaking and perfecting... more fun things I want to make :P

Townsville is now textured (aside from one white wall I forgot about until right now as I type this...)

The actual character creator itself has only two new costume options (a hairstyle and a cat jumper), so if you're not interesting in looking around the now fully textured Townsville or using pose mode, I'd skip this update :P

I've implemented keyboard controls, though I think it works much better with a gamepad, the option is there. And you can customise the inputs from the startup window.

Pose mode controls:
Left click: select menu item
Right click: Bring up menu/Cancel menu

Freeflying camera
Left stick: Move camera (forward, backward and strafe)
Right stick: Rotate camera
Start: Pause game (option to return to title screen)
A: Bring up pose menu
B: Take direct control of selected character
LT/RT: Lower camera and raise camera

From the pose menu you can:
Change which character you are controlling/posing
Change their expression (Default, happy, hurt, angry)
Change their animation (press left/right to cycle, or press X to bring up a list of all animations)
Control animation frame: Not every animation has a full animation to it, but for those that do, this allows you to control which stage of the animation the character is posed in
Rotation: Press left and right to rotate the character

When in direct control of selected character, the controls are the same as freeflying mode, but the selected character is glued to the camera. Press B to cancel out of this.

Clicking on the screenshot button will take a screenshot without any UI in the way, as with the character creator.

You will need to select at least two characters from the character select screen to launch pose mode.

*EDIT*
Added mouse controls for main menu, char select and pose mode.

I took part in the Ludum Dare gamejam (48 hours to make a videogame from scratch) this weekend, the theme was 'One Room' so I made a short room escape game.  Probably the most obvious choice, I imagine there will be several hundred room escape entries in the competition :P
Been a while since I took part in one of these game jams. I need to do these more :)

You can download it for free over here: Download here
Ludum Dare comp page is here

Right now it's windows only, I'll try compiling a web or mac version in the next few days.

They'll be in 0.8. It will be up once I finish PPGZ costumes, yours and another person's requests. A few days probably.

Hey, Tifu! I heard that you were involved with making the Powerpuff Z 3 game, in which I absolutely LOVED playing as a little girl! .:*Emoticon*:. Powerpuff Girls Caramelldansen

Well I was wondering, since I'm making a manga sequel of the game called "Powerpuff Z 4", I was wondering if you know anything about the challengers in the game. (Blitzy, Digital X, and Bane)
I'm about to read Bane's story soon once I have the time, and I already know about the story mode and how it goes in the PPZ3 game, I just want to learn more so that I know what I'm doing while the manga's in process.

Thanks for the help, and thanks for your masterpiece!
Stay beautiful! Miku Love [V1]

Cool :)

Yeah, Bane was originally created by Crystal Fenix - www.fanfiction.net/u/32654/Cry… - and was the villain of PPZ2. PPZ2 didn't have a plot as far as I recall, none in-game anyway.

Bleak was originally from Nothing Ventured Nothing Trained - www.fanfiction.net/s/348604/1/… and comic version - ianmeta.deviantart.com/gallery… - so, in that story he is just a artificial hologram of the training room, which is obviously inconsistent with the fact he appears in PPZ3 as a real villain.

Blitzy was created by Steve aka Slarty. I don't think any of his art is still online. If I recall she was just a kind of "random" "wacky" character he used in some short comics. Like Gir in Invader Zim, kind of. She was friends with the girls in the comics, I think.

Digital X... was created by Digital X. As far as I can recall there weren't any stories about her, she was an artist on rowdyruff.net and I think she was just included because she had an awesome design.

The designs for the Dark PPG were from this fic (or possibly its sequel) - www.fanfiction.net/s/269939/1/… - though like Bleak, they can't be the same characters, just look the same.

So yeah, there wasn't really a consistent story between the game and their appearances in fanfiction or whatever.  Only Bleak and Bane were villains in their original sources. Blitzy and Digital X would have no real reason to fight the PPG. So I wouldn't worry too much about being consistent with that stuff. If it gets in the way of you making your story better, just change it I'd say =P

I don't think that it'll effect my story, but thanks.

I'm thinking about having Bane and Bleak form an alliance in my story, while everyone else teams up to stop them. Plus I'll add three new characters to join the girls, and even make up a little origin behind the powerpuff species. (because that always makes me curious😜)

So yeah, thanks for the help. And I hope you're looking forward to the story!😘 (it's gonna be on Fanfiction.net and a manga on Deviantart)

You should add the banana ponytail seen in my fan art to the next version of PPG Character Creator.

When you have the list of all the animations open, you should be able to click on them from there. Though if you mean the first pose menu, yeah I should do that I guess.
